Day 3: a monday surprise

Because my sister made a comment that this is the first time in all of my office birthdays that I did not receive a birthday cake. I told her, "Wala na kasi sina Vada and Ogie. Sila nagoorganize ng ganun sa office.". Iiyak na ba ako? Hahaha. Well, my two closest friends from my first job which is in Deutsche are both working in Singapore already. So it's impossible for them to Air21 a cake to me. Plus the fact that I have resigned from the company 6 months ago and I'm doing/creating/making a new name/career in my current company which is Citibank. Well I failed in the making a career department but that's another story. Point is I do not have tons of friends in Citi compared to DKS. Ganun. Kaya wala akong cake and it does not bother me at all:) I'm not sociable anymore. Hehe. Yet, that changed when my new teammates surprised me a while ago in the office:

They  surprised me with a Black Forest Cake and Yellow Cab pizza and it was organized by my new team lead Karen who is currently on maternity leave! Ang sweet talaga:) Thanks guys for the surprise! I never thought that this would happen in Citi! Mondays can be fun pala!
